We have received reports of vehicle-related crime around the Appleby Magna/ Measham area, and we are asking residents to remain alert and take simple steps to help protect their vehicles.
Please remember to:
Lock your vehicle every time you leave it
Remove valuables from view
Double-check that windows and sunroofs are fully closed
Park in well-lit areas where possible
Consider using additional security such as steering wheel locks, CCTV, or home doorbell cameras
If you see anything suspicious—people trying car door handles, looking into vehicles, or unknown vehicles driving slowly around the area—please report it to us.
